1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the Premium Quality Painters website (“Site”) or engaging our painting services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or request services.

2. Services

Premium Quality Painters provides residential and commercial painting services, including interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, surface preparation, and related work as described in a written estimate or service agreement.

Service descriptions, photos, and portfolio examples on the Site are for general information. Final scope, materials, colours, and pricing are confirmed in a signed estimate or contract.

3. Estimates & quotes

Free estimates are based on information available at the time of inspection or inquiry. Quotes may be revised if hidden conditions, additional repairs, change orders, or material price changes are discovered after work begins. We will communicate material changes before proceeding where practicable.

An estimate is not a binding contract until accepted in writing (including email confirmation) by both parties.

4. Scheduling & access

You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, utilities (water, power), and decision-makers needed to perform the work. Delays caused by weather, curing times, material availability, or client-side access issues may adjust the schedule.

5. Payment

Payment terms are specified in your estimate or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, deposits may be required to secure scheduling, with balance due upon substantial completion or according to milestone terms in writing. Late payments may incur interest or suspension of work as permitted by law.

6. Warranties & workmanship

We stand behind professional application of quality materials when surfaces are properly prepared and maintained. Warranty terms, if any, are stated in your written agreement. Normal wear, structural movement, moisture intrusion, improper prior surfaces, or damage after completion are not covered unless expressly included.

7. Client responsibilities

• Clear work areas and secure valuables before work begins
• Disclose known hazards, asbestos, lead paint, or structural issues
• Approve colours, sheens, and specifications before application
• Maintain painted surfaces according to manufacturer guidelines

8. Website use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to disrupt the Site, scrape content without permission, submit false information, or use the Site in any way that infringes intellectual property or applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

All Site content — including text, logos, images, portfolio photography, and design — is owned by Premium Quality Painters or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute Site content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Premium Quality Painters shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site (excluding signed service contracts) is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred Canadian dollars, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Premium Quality Painters from claims arising from inaccurate information you provide, unsafe property conditions not disclosed, or misuse of the Site, except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
